Trip Photo – St. Andrew’s Cathedral, Amalfi Coast

Saint Andrew Patron Amalfi Coast

Italy’s Amalfi Coast is one of the great treasures of the world, and no visit is complete with a stop in the town of Amalfi itself. In the center of this compact town is the Duomo, the Cathedral of St. Andrew. The colorful cathedral dates back to the 11th century and its interior is adorned in the highly decorative Baroque style. The relics of the Saint were brought to Amalfi in 1206 and can still be seen today.

This reminds me about the St. Joseph Cathedral in Mysore.
