Eurostar, the high-speed rail service of the United Kingdom, will launch new London to Amsterdam service on April 4.
Passengers will be able to travel from St. Pancras station in London direct to the Netherlands in three hours.
Tickets will go on sale on Feb. 20 for $47 one way.
Initially, passengers will travel direct from London to Amsterdam and Rotterdam. On the return journey, they will connect through Brussels, where passport controls and security screening will take place.
Marriott International will add almost 4,000 rooms to the Las Vegas Strip when the unfinished Fontainebleau site is redeveloped into a casino resort with JW Marriott and Edition hotels.
The resort on the northern end of the Strip, named The Drew, is scheduled to open in late 2020 with three hotels. One of them will be called The Drew.
Two Blackbirds Hospitality will oversee the resort, and Marriott will run the three hotels. Two Blackbirds Hospitality is led by New York-based developer Steve Witkoff and John Unwin, former CEO of the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
When Royal Caribbean International first launched the Mariner of the Seas in 2003, it marked the fifth and last sizable Voyager-class vessel before developing even bigger ones. Never forgotten, though, the line is returning to the ship to schedule $90 million worth of revitalizations for unveiling in June 2018.
Central to the improvements is the exciting new Sky Pad virtual reality, bungee trampoline attraction. Physically, passengers will be strapped into a harness and wear a digital headset, but virtually, they will travel to a different time and planet. Guests of all ages will have the option to play intergalactic games as they hop over moon craters or enjoy the experience sans headgear for traditional sea and sky views.
The Walt Disney Co. announced that it is raising ticket prices for theme parks in Florida and California, effective immediately.
Disney said it raised prices for one-day tickets by $2 to $7 at its Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme parks in Florida. The prices, and price increases, vary for adults and children, and also depend on the time of year of the visit.
For example, Disney increased one-day ticket prices for Disneyland Resort in California by up to $11 for an adult on peak days. The price increases for one-day tickets to Disneyland varied from $2 to $11, depending on the time of year. But it also lowered the price by $10 on value days.
