Toy Story Land, a highly anticipated attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, now has an opening date. It will open June 30.

“Hollywood Studios is certainly in the middle of an amazing transformation, and clearly Toy Story is right at the front of that,” said Phil Holmes, vice president of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, during a media event here highlighting the new area.

Toy Story Land is one of a number of new features in the works for Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Next year, another new area of the park based on the Star Wars franchise will open — Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The following year, a new ride-through attraction, Micky & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, will open in the park in the former location of the Great Movie Ride.

Far too often, travelers strictly equate a visit to Nepal with the arduous task of summiting of Mt. Everest. But while the iconic, bucket-list experience enthralls many, it can also be prohibitive to visitors who have no interest in mixing their travels with x-factor-style adventure.

While Nepal does share a boundary (along with China’s autonomous region of Tibet) of Mt. Everest—and, as a point of fact, eight of the ten tallest mountains in the world are at least partially located within Nepal—it would be a mistake to think trekking is the only reason to visit this mountainous region.

To help reinforce the message that Nepal is an equal-opportunity destination, with hard and soft adventure activities mingled alongside more sedate cultural experiences, the Nepal Tourism Board and Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) have been taking their message on the road.

Las Vegas’ Fontainebleau casino project, which stalled in 2009, is getting another chance.

Marriott International, the largest hotel company in the world, plans to turn it into a 4,000-room resort and casino called The Drew Las Vegas.

It will be a combination of Marriott’s EDITION brand and The Strip’s first JW Marriott. It is set to open in late 2020.

The program is meant for people who are on a vacation to a wine-heavy area and allows each passenger who signs up for Alaska’s frequent flyer program to check a case of wine without paying a checked bag fee. Signing up for the frequent flyer program is free, and you don’t need to have achieved status on the airline in order to take advantage of the deal.

‘Wine Flies Free’ has actually been around since 2007 and was originally created as a way to encourage people to bring back wine from the Sonoma area in California.

The program was initially only available in 11 cities, but this weekend Alaska is expanding the program to 18 additional cities on the west coast making the perk available in 29 different airports.
