Disney Cruise Line is setting sail to seven new European ports in Summer 2019, when the Disney Magic will take its first round-trip cruise from Rome and visit new destinations in Sweden, France, Spain, Denmark and Northern Ireland.

Next year, the Disney Cruise Line‘s Disney Magic will visit the Mediterranean in early summer and northern Europe in late summer. On June 14, 2019, the Disney Magic will sail its first round-trip eight-night cruise from Civitavecchia (Rome). Ports of call include Salerno (Positano, Amalfi, Pompeii) and La Spezia (Florence, Pisa), Italy; Villefranche (Monte Carlo, Cannes, Nice) and Marseilles, France; and Barcelona, Spain. In Rome, families can explore the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain and the Vatican, and sample authentic local cuisine.

Government representatives from the United States and Belize are teaming up to help protect cultural heritage artifacts from Belize.

According to a press release, Acting Charge d’Affaires Deborah Lingwood at the United States Embassy in Belize and Greg Vernon, the Acting President of Belize’s National Institute of Culture and Heritage have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that “solidifies the collaboration between the United States and Belize to combat looting and trafficking of cultural objects in Belize.”

The Walt Disney Company has announced a two billion-euro ($2.5 billion) expansion plan for Disneyland Paris, which will feature Marvel superheroes.

The plan was unveiled Tuesday following a meeting between French President Emmanuel Macron and Disney chairman Robert A. Iger.

Disney Group said the development, which includes a transformation of Walt Disney Studios Park, will include three new areas based on Marvel superheroes as well as Frozen and Star Wars movies, “along with new attractions and live entertainment experiences.”

Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak has asked the Tourism and Sports Ministry to propose a “Riviera Thailand” project during a Cabinet retreat in Phetchaburi due to be held on Tuesday (March 6).

Tourism and Sports Minister Weerasak Kowsurat said on Monday that the deputy prime minister wanted the project to boost tourism in the southern Thai provinces of Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon and Ranong, which are located along the Andaman coast.
