United plans to begin charging passengers extra for seats toward the front of the economy cabin, but behind the Economy Plus rows.

The airline is making the move in conjunction with the implementation of its Corporate Preferred program, which will offer new benefits to travelers whose employers have a corporate contract with United. One benefit for those business travelers will be free access to the front-cabin economy seats at the time of booking. Flyers with Mileage Plus Premier status will also have free access to those seats.

U.S. fans of Guinness won’t have to travel to Dublin to indulge in a tour and tasting experience of one of the most recognizable brands in the beer industry. Makers of the beer toasted the opening of the $90 million Guinness Open Gate Brewery & Barrel House Aug. 3 near Baltimore, its first U.S. brewery in more than 60 years.

Located in Relay, Maryland, 10 miles from downtown Baltimore, the attraction is expected to host 300,000 visitors a year to its gift shop, brew house, taproom and restaurant, which opens later this month. Guinness Open Gate sits on a 62-acre property where parent company Diageo, the world’s largest drinks maker, had owned the property since 2001.

But many of them waited anyway.

A group of about 50 business owners from the gateway town of Mariposa, California, received permission to briefly shut down one of the main arteries to the iconic park, Highway 140, for a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday morning to celebrate its reopening.
