    It’s amazing to consider how a few short decades ago, Granville Island was once a smelly toxic industrial wasteland. The realized vision is obviously much different today (as seen in your photo above), but there are changes coming to the island as one of its big former tenants, the Emily Carr University of Art and Design, has moved to another location within the city. It’ll be very interesting to see what comes next for the island.
